I'm back from South Korea

Just returned from an 8-day South Korea vacation. There are 20 people on this trip excluding our SA Tours Singapore guide Barry. Our Korean guide is Harry who conducted the tour in Mandarin.

We visited many places of interests ~ Mount Sorak, Yongpyong Dragon Valley (the filming site of the popular Korean drama "Winter Sonata"), Decksan Spa Castle, Jeju Island, Lotte World, Yongin Eveland Theme Park, Kyongbok Palace, Presidential Blue House.

Weather has been quite cold in the morning and warmth in the late morning and afternoon. Just simply wonderful. For our meals, we have Ginseng Chicken Soup with Ginseng Wine (Samgetang), Korean Barbeque, Korean Seafood Steamboat, Pork Bulgogi, Bibimbap, Jeju Abalone Porridge, etc. It's just simply delicious. Every meal is accompanied by 2 types of kimchi - spicy and non-spicy.  On our last day, we also tried spicy fried Rice Cakes (Chao Nian Gao).  It was simply delicious. Yummy!

The only thing I didn't get to try was Zha Jiang Mian.

We have also managed to see the Cherry Blossoms - both pink and white flowers. Lucky us. We thought by the time we arrived, all the flowers would have been gone!  Luck was on our side, I guess.
