Popped by my friend's newly renovated home in December last year. We had some fun with baking bacon buns.

Took a couple of photographs in the early morning over several days with my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Which is your favourite shot ?
Visit to the Flower Dome
Managed to take a day off to visit the Flower Dome to catch the sakura flowers before the season was over. Went early in the morning before the crowd starts to gather, managed to get a couple of lovely photographs.

Gardens By The Bay
Finally I get to visit this beautiful place in Singapore after such a long time. I love the 2 Domes - Cloud Forest and Flower Dome. Took so many photographs of the flowers spending over 6 hours in both Domes. I just wished I had a DSLR with me.
These photos were taken with my Samsung Note 3 phone. It is such an incredible place with so many exotic flowers. I love the orchids and cacti displays. Lovely !! :)

Team Building in Sentosa
The staff had an interesting teambuilding session on Sentosa island. We left the office at 5pm wearing our gymwear. At Sentosa, we were briefed on the adventures that we will be having. The staff are broken up into different teams. Each team will elect a person to be a navigator. The navigator is equipped with a GPS reader which will show you the different points on the map of Sentosa that you have go. We have to move from Point A to Point B to locate the clues which will eventually bring us to the finishing point - the dinner venue. At every point your GPS will send signals back to the organiser that you have solved the clue, thus clocking points for you team. The team that clocks the most points, arriving at the dinner venue on time will win the first place.
It was simply exciting and everyone was so enthusiastic about the adventure. At certain pitstops each time will stop to play games - such as charades, or skipping rope together on the beach.
It certainly brought lots of laughter and closeness. We had loads of fun. The dinner spread was good and we had a great time.

A year has passed ..
A year has passed since I last blog on this site. Time certainly flies and I have been rather busy - with work as well as hitting the gym for my workout. I am getting more addicted to my group exercises at the gym - spinning, bodypump and bodycombat. I have more more friends at the gym too.
I have done a fair number of travelling this year - visiting Perth WA (my last trip was in 1988), Seoul & Busan, and recently, Bangkok (last trip was in 2007). Gosh, there are so many places in the world to explore.
Perth has not change much over the years. Love the shopping at the Hay Street Mall and the supermarket in the city and outskirts.

Bought a fair number of chocolates from Perth, even though I keep telling myself not to buy any more. Hahaha .. I suppose the visit to the supermarkets always trigger a buying impulse. :)
I finally get my chance to visit Busselton Jetty - a 1.7 km long jetty ! Yeah, we were there almost at sunset and we took a long stroll all the way up to the end and back to watch the spectacular sunset. It was truly a beautiful sight. Love it. A walk up and down the jetty, watching people fishing from the jetty, some even stayed for night fishing. After the sun has set, the entire place became so dark and we had a long drive back to Perth. It was indeed a tiring day.
More to blog later ..

Was travelling with my cousin and her family and we met up with an old school friend of hers in Perth. She brought us to Tenkadori - a small Japanese restaurant which can cater up to only 15 people a night. It was a wonderful experience and the service was fantastic. I can rate it 5 over 5 !! :)I finally get my chance to visit Busselton Jetty - a 1.7 km long jetty ! Be the CHANGE !
Be The Change.
We do need to learn to tolerate difference and diversity in people, values, opinions ... but we cannot do that if we don't have an inherent and deep love of people including the grace to accept them as a whole, just as they are, with all of their burdens as luggage beside them.
There is no tolerance or acceptance without first love.

Zhi-Char dinner
Dad bought this delicious spread of food from the Coffee Shop in the neighbourhood. The yam basket is simply delicious.
The pork ribs are very tender and there are no bones in them. It's tasty and well marinated.
This braised tou-fu dish with vegetables goes very well with a plate of rice.
Looking forward to eating them again soon. This is enough for 4 to 5 people.
