Paradise Inn @Changi T1

We decide to have a family lunch at Changi Airport Terminal One's Paradise Inn Restaurant on New Year's Day.  We did not do any booking but decide to take a chance and get there before noon.  Lucky for us, the restaurant is still running at half capacity.  But right after 12 noon, the lunch crowd (passengers and locals alike) started to walk in. Within half hour, the restaurant was full.

We decide to try a variety of dishes, by ordering all the small serving sizes.  We ended up with 9 dishes.

Stewed Pork - to be eaten with buns. Very soft and tender. Only 3 pieces.

I decide to try the chrysanthemum & rose tea. This is very fragrant and I love it.
Each pot of tea costs SGD3.80 (per person).
 This is the prawn roll.

We also tried a plate of fried mee-sua.  It is served with lots of prawns and squids all chopped into smaller pieces.  It's delicious.

The deep fried cod fish is the most expensive dish we ordered. It costs SGD19.90 a slice but it is really good.  One of my favourite dishes in fact.

The fried asparagus with sambal is really good, very soft and all of us enjoyed this dish.

This plate of prawn and duck egg fritters is a bit too 'creamy' for my taste.  Next time I shall order the wasabi one instead.  I had tried the wasabi prawns at Seafood Paradise Restaurant and that is really thumbs up !

The coffee pork rib is soft and tender - the coffee taste is strong.

Another hot favourite is this deep fried toufu and egg dish.

Overall, the dishes are quite affordable, mostly below SGD15 for small dishes.
