Met up with a group of old friends on Saturday, after my gym workout. I was the first visitor to arrive at Wendy & Edmund's cosy home in Bishan. I spent over 2 hours catching up with Wendy before the rest of the gang showed up.
Wendy was one of my lunch buddies when I joined the company. She was also my first travel buddy. We had gone on a 23 days vacation in the USA in 1990 - my first trip abroad without my parents. Time certainly flies !!
While waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive, we had home-made kopi (coffee) and donuts from Donut Factory. I tried the oreos donut. It was simply chewy and delicious.

As usual, we have lots of dishes for dinner - fried rice with crabmeat, fried beehoon, deep-fried chicken wings, mango salad and more finger food. For desserts, we had premium ice-cream and jelly.
